The woman behind Kunst for alle
Charlotte Jensen

Charlotte Jensen is the woman behind the art exhibitions Kunst for alle, which is held once a year in three different locations in Denmark.

It began in Ridehuset in Aarhus in 2002, then followed by Øksnehallen in Copenhagen in 2010 and at last Aalborg Kongres & Kultur Center in 2015

All beautiful places, which each year produces an artistic base for an inspiring exhibition where audiences come very close to art and artists.

Organizer and artistic director Charlotte Jensen got the idea for Kunst for alle for more than 15 years ago, when she discussed art with her father Poul Jensen, who is an art collector.

"He said a little provocative, that art is only for connoisseurs, which I obviously did not agree with. If art is not for everyone, who then? Then I started to arrange Kunst for alle" says Charlotte Jensen.

The meeting between the artists and the audience is an important part of the concept. "But at the same time, artists can network with each other and get inspiration for them self."

With Kunst for alle Charlotte Jensen wants, through a wide range of original art, to show what is happening right now on the Danish art scene.
