Noah Adam Norrid
Noah Norrid is an internationally recognized artist whose work lives at the crossroads between fable and natural history illustration. His work, often characterized with a sense of magical realism, is imbued with narrative qualities that unfold in each of his works, inviting the audience into striking, often ambiguous tales depicting nature’s various comedies and tragedies, hilarities and conundrums.
While Noah often grapples with complex ideas in the narrative context of his paintings, his work is stylistically compelling and visually generous. “I use the natural world as the primary vehicle for my storytelling because it is a world that almost everyone can relate to and access in their own creative imagination. There is a kind of irony in the fact that we tend to listen closer when nature is speaking.” In the past 5 years, Noah work has been featured at Johannes Larsen Museum in Denmark as well galleries in Denmark, New Zealand, Australia and the USA. As well, his art has been featured in Magazine Kunst, Beautiful Bizaare magazine, and Art and Color magazine. His work has won honorable mentions or been shortlisted in several international art contests. Noah lives and works in Copenhagen, Denmark.
